Info: In 2000, Project Playground Clothing Co. was founded by Justin Leonard as an independent brand that embodies New york City’s ties between sports, music, and fashion. Many of PPC’s designs are inspired by the proud NYC basketball community of which it is an integral member. Throughout his “Pop” and “Post Pop” periods, Andy Warhol created an artistic revolution by consistently blurring the distinction between high and low art. Appropriating images from popular culture, Warhol created many paintings that remain icons of 20th-century art, such as the “Campbell’s Soup Cans”, Disasters” and “Marilyn” in the ’60s.
